ACCREDITATION

IBMC College goes through required extensive accrediting reviews to make sure we maintain a high level of performance, to seek evidence of the college’s self-improvement, and to ensure our integrity and conformity to national standards. Meeting these standards of integrity enables us to continually be nationally accredited. Through this accreditation, we’re able to award our students with certificates, diplomas and Associate of Occupational Studies degrees along with participate in Title IV federal funding.

IBMC College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), a non-profit, independent accrediting agency which the Department of Education has confirmed as a reliable authority for the establishment of educational standards.

New York College of Health Professions is committed to offering quality programs in health, science and the arts. The mission has three main components.

• Education: To provide students with the knowledge and skills to enable them to become expert practitioners in their fields. To provide the knowledge and skills to enhance the health, wellness and quality of life in the larger community, and to develop educational materials to achieve that same purpose.
• Service: To provide clinical and pharmacological services to the community as a complement to the programs of professional education. To provide services and products to the community that complement the programs offered by the College.
• Research: To develop and implement with outside parties new product development in health care, wellness and quality of life products.

Macomb Community College is a community college with several locations in Michigan. Its South Campus is networked with a series of underground tunnels that are used by faculty and staff, especially during winter. Macomb nationally ranks in the top two percent in number of associate degrees awarded and as the largest grantor of associate degrees in Michigan. The College is welcoming, and offers open admission to students who meet its minimum qualifications. Macomb Community College maintains open, affordable, and lifelong access to experiences and opportunities, promoting individual growth and economic prosperity. It continues to focus on education, enrichment, and economic development for everyone within its reach and beyond. Macomb Community College has five intercollegiate athletic programs for women and five for men.

Macomb Community College has nearly 200 options for degrees and certificates in university transfer and career preparation programs. It offers approximately 40 bachelor’s degree completion and master’s degree programs at its University Center. Macomb Community College offers 75 different scholarships to its students. Macomb Community College has transformed the landscape of cultural experiences available in our community. Macomb Community College reports that it is nationally accredited.

Macomb also purchased 15 seats of the Haas emulator from Immersive Engineering, Inc.. Macomb ranks nationally in the top two percent in the number of associate’s degrees awarded and as the largest grantor of associate’s degrees in Michigan. Macomb, the second largest community college in Michigan, offers more of the kinds of programs to prepare people for life and work in the 21st century at many locations throughout Macomb County: Nearly 200 degree and certificate programs; nearly 40 bachelor’s completion and master’s degree programs at Macomb’s University Center; pre-college programs to help high school students plan for their future; customized workforce training; certification and professional education; and community enrichment programs.

Macomb Community College uses encrypted, non-persistent cookies to maintain and validate a users session. It may rename the forms and tailor them to be harmonious with the colors, fonts, and organization of the existing Web site. It may also intersperse the Web Advisor forms with other forms created at Macomb Community College to provide a complete Web presence that achieves its functional and strategic goals. Macomb Community College’s Center for Continuing Education offers a wide range of highly interactive, affordable and convenient non-credit courses you can take entirely over the Internet and earn SB-CEU credits. Its comprehensive Workforce Development Institute is focused on maintaining Michigans competitive edge in the global economy by assisting business and industry in sustaining a highly skilled workforce and supporting meaningful employment opportunities. Macomb will continue to be a leading edge community college and the community’s preferred choice for lifelong learning, cultural enrichment, and community development opportunities.
