Mar Jon School of Beauty Culture
Myra Critelli Capizzi was the founder and director of Mar Jon School of Beauty Culture. Over the years she became known to thousands of students as “The Diva” and “Fingerwave Queen”. She died in her North Tonawanda home in the spring of 2007 after a brief illness.
If you are looking for thorough, competent, professional cosmetology instruction; Mar Jon School of Beauty Culture is for you. From staff of licensed instructors to highly qualified administrative staff; everyone at Mar Jon is genuinely interested in your success. Their instructors and staff will do their best to guide you and advise you — to give you the full benefit of their years of training and experience.
They judge the success of their school by the career success of their graduates. Of course, all of their graduates have free lifetime access to their placement service. Perhaps more importantly, Mar Jon’s strong reputation in the industry and huge network of successful graduates will be your best placement resources when you graduate from Mar Jon.
The cosmetology curriculum consists of 1000 clock hours of training with two goals in mind. First and foremost, a complete training to prepare you for your New York State Board of Cosmetology Exams. This will include basic training in all phases of this field, both written and practical. Secondly, MarJon prepares you for a future in cosmetology. Hair stylist, salon owner/manager, stage artist, school instructor (after 2-5 years of experience), product demonstrator, and retail specialist are just a few of the careers you can choose from as a licensed cosmetologist. The cosmetology course at MarJon is accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences (NACCAS).
In order to be considered for admission, new applicants must be 17 years of age or older. Proof of age/identity such as a birth certificate, driver’s license or other such document deemed acceptable by the director is required. Submission of a high school diploma, transcript or GED and Social Security Card is also required.
Your decision to attend MarJon should be based on your desire to achieve your career goals. MarJon believes that no student should be denied the opportunity to pursue his or her career interests because of the lack of financial resources. To assist you in meeting your educational expenses, MarJon participates in several financial assistance programs. In many cases, their financial aid office awards qualified students a financial aid “package”. Your financial aid package may include several types of financial assistance.
Many students and parents worry about navigating the complex financial aid application process. Their friendly staff will provide assistance in completing your financial aid forms and help you have a stress-free financial aid experience.Tags: Beauty Colleges, Beauty Courses, Beauty Programs, Beauty Schools, Cosmetology Schools,
